Aerospace Animation

Impact Technologies has developed a suite of innovative software/hardware products and solutions for monitoring, diagnosing and predicting the health and remaining useful life of critical aerospace subsystems. The specific PHM technologies are used to inform operators and maintainers when critical components are starting to degrade, and estimate the remaining useful life of these high value systems.

By understanding the current health of critical subsystems such as propulsion, flight controls, avionics, and drive system components, and then being able to predict – with a high degree of accuracy – how much time remains to component functional failure, operators have the ability to schedule maintenance on a condition-based set of rules rather than a periodic, time-based schedule. To the owners of the platform a PHM/CBM implementation means improved sustainability and operational availability, a valuable link in a reliability growth process and maintenance support costs that approach optimal levels.
